Greetings from Thailand
Eurodressage in Thailand - February 6, 2005
Dear Eurodressage readers,
 once in a while the Eurodressage editor in chief,
Astrid Appels, needs a break too. In the past,
she used to go on a one week, swimming pool vacation
with her parents and niece (6 years old) and nephew
(8 years old) in the summer, but this year she
has
been spurred
by her
mother to venture East and sniff the incense and spices
of Thailand.
Astrid flew to Bangkok
on Thursday evening February 3, 2005, for a 10-day
"no computer - no email - no work - no horses" vacation.
At least, that was the dream plan. But as with every
cyber- and horse addict, the laptop (which was only
meant
to download photos) too easily plugged into a
high speed modem and our editor was online again. spending
several
routine night
time
hours writing stories and emails.
In order not to fall back completely into her 15-hour
a day work schedule, she has decided to mix business
with pleasure in Thailand by posting some Thai photos
on the website.
