Dutch Pony Team for the 2006 European Championships Named

The Dutch Equestrian Federation (KNHS) and Dutch pony Chef d'Equipe Mieke de Kok have announced the selected combinations for the Dutch pony team that will compete at the 2006 European Championships in Saumur, France. Taking into account the performances of the Dutch A and B-team pony riders during this past 2006 outdoor show season, especially at international shows such as the CDI-P Saumur, CDI-P Wouwse Plantage and CDI-P Stadl Paura, De Kok selected the following four riders:

• Angela Krooswijk - Power and Paint (by Power Boy x Dancer)
• Laurens Sliepenbeek - Hoby (by Hasko)
• Maria van den Dungen - Milkshake (pictured)
• Michelle van Lanen - Basalt (by Balthasar x Briery Lady Mac)
  • Reserve: Lotte Jansen - Oosteind's Rocco (by Anjershof Rocky x Downland Folklore)

The 2006 European Pony Championships take place on July 25-30, 2006 in Saumur, France.
