Redford to be Competed by Hans Peter Minderhoud
October 2, 2003
One
of Anky van Grunsven's younger horses, the KWPN stallion
Redford, will be competed this year by Hans Peter Minderhoud.
Redford came into training with Anky in 2001 and has
been under the care of Anky's student Edward Gal since
then. As a 4-year old, Redford was shown by Edward Gal
in the KWPN Stallion Competition. Due to Gal's most
recent Grand Prix successes aboard Gestion Lingh, Gal
no longer has the time to focus himself sufficiently
on Redford. Therefore, the 5-year old Redford will now
presented in the KWPN Stallion Competition by Hans Peter
Minderhoud.
Redford is a black licensed KWPN stallion by Krack
C out of Liane (by Ferro x Lector). He was bred by Mr
Naber from Vredenheim, The Netherlands, and is currently
owned by the syndicate of Stoeterij 't Centrum, Mr Valk,
Mrs Van Grunsven and Equestrian International. In his
Stallion Performance Test, Redford scored 7.5 on walk,
7.5 on trot and 8.5 on canter.
