Isabell Werth Speeds Up Come Back To CDI-W Mechelen

December 18, 2009

Though the organisation of the CDI-W Amsterdam boasted that Isabell Werth was to make her official come back to the competition ring at their World Cup qualifier in the capital of Holland, the organizers of the CDI-W Mechelen have now released the news that Isabell Werth has sped up her come back to their show.

Today German Olympic gold medallist Isabell Werth confirmed her entry at the 2009 CDI-W Mechelen, which takes place 26 - 30th December 2009. She is supposed to ride Warum Nicht FRH (by Weltmeyer) though this might still alter leading up to the show.

In Mechelen Werth will be facing tough competition from Adelinde Cornelisson on Parzival and Imke Schellekens-Bartels on Sunrise.

Werth's FEI suspension due to a positive doping test of her horse Whisper ends 23rd December 2009.
