Monica Theodorescu's Whisper Wins the 2007 Otto Lörke

The
chestnut Baden Wurttemberger bred gelding Whipser won
the 2007 Otto Lörke Prize at the 2007 CDI Stuttgart
in Germany, on Sunday November 18, 2007. Rider Monica
Theodorescu, owner Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff and his trainer
the late Georg Theodorescu were honoured for having
produced the most talented upcoming Grand Prix horse
up to 10 years of age in Germany, to which the Otto
Lörke prize is dedicated.
The 9-year old Whisper is bred by Lothar Wanner from
Wangen, Germany, and is by Welt Hit I x Weltstar x
Elfenglanz. In 2005, the chestnut was the winner of
the Nurnberg Burgpokal Qualifier and in 2007 he was
part of the German team that won team silver at the
European Dressage Championships in Turin, Italy.
Monica Theodorescu and Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff received
the Otto Lorke Prize from Klaus Rheinberger (stepfather
of Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff), who is president of the
Liselott Schindling Foundation for the Promotion of
Dressage. Theodorescu received a check of 1,500 euro
which was granted to the trainer of the horse, the
late Georg Theodorescu.
