Madeleine Winter-Schulze Retreats As DOKR Dressage
Spokeswoman
Former
German Dressage Show Jumping champion Madeleine Winter-Schulze
is thinking about giving up her position as spokeswoman
for the German dressage riders and as member of the
dressage team selection committee. Winter-Schulze's
will decide up her position after the international
competition in Stuttgart, November 20 to 24, 2002.
Her retreat from German public dressage life was instigated
by an article in a German horse magazine in which she
was described as the maecenas for Beerbaum and Werth.
However; but the latter was unable to qualify herself
for the 2002 World Equestrian Games and for the German
Dressage team for the first time in 10 years.
