Isabell Werth Injured and Out for Six Weeks

WerthGermany's most successful dressage rider ever, Isabell Werth, has been injured severely and will be out of circuit for at least 6 weeks. Werth fractured her shin bone at Madeleine Winter-Schulze's training barn in Mellendorf, Germany, and was operated on immediately.

Her Grand Prix horse Apache OLD slipped while walking down the hall way, hitting Werth's shin bone and causing a very complicated fracture. Apache sustained no injuries.
