Diamond Hit Suffers Severe Colic Attack
July 4, 2003
The
recently sold Oldenburg breeding stallion Diamond Hit
has been operated on a severe colic attach two weeks
ago. The 6-year old stallion by Don Schufro out of Loretta
(Ramino) suffered so immensely from his colic attack,
that in order to rescue him, he not only had colic surgery,
but he had also one testicle removed. Diamond Hit will,
therefore, be no longer available for the 2003 breeding
season.
Diamond Hit was a premium stallion at the 1999 Oldenburg
Stallion Licensing. The dark bay beauty gained fame
in the dressage ring under Miriam Henschke who presented
him successfully at the German Bundeschampionate. In
2002 Diamond Hit was sold to the English Brookhouse
Stud, which is based at Hofgut Neuhof in Dreieich,
Germany.
