Broere Jazz Proclaimed Keur Stallion
January 7, 2002
The
KWPN Licensing Commission recently evaulated the offspring
of a large number of young stallions and of a group
of older stallions, and came to the conclusion to proclaim
three Dutch warmbloods Keur Stallion.
Broere Jazz, Wolfgang and the gelderlander Elegant
have shown such a strong collection of offspring, who
has won many prizes at both breed shows and sport competitions,
that they have deserved the Keur status.
This is good news concerning Broere Jazz, as his trainer
Tineke Bartels only just announced to pull back the
stallion from competition for a few months. The stated
reason for this retreat is an infected hoofbone, which
already caused Jazz problems during the CDI-W Berlin.
Another reason, undoubtfully, are the problems Tineke
is having with him, confirmed at the CDI-W Maastricht
where the stallion refused to go into the reason.
"The stallion gets a few months rest to recouperate
and we'll see how things go from then on," Bartels
said.
