December 8, 2002
Along
with stable mate Regazzoni, the Hanoverian breeding
stallion Bergamon has been sold to the United States.
Bergamon, however, has moved to Stargate Farm in Texas,
while Regazzoni is residing at Oldenburg Farm in Wisconsin.
The only 8-year old Bergamon (by Baryshnikov x Pik
Konig) had to make room at former owner Ingo Pape's
stallion station for his recently licensed son Baroncelli.
Bergamon produced top sport horses and stallions in
the few years that he covered mares in Germant. Famous
offspring is Hilltop Bugatti and several of his get
sold for top prices at breed shows, auctions and stallion
licensings.
Bergamon's sire Baryshnikov is a Hanoverian state champion,
stallion performance test winner in dressage, multiple
upper level dressage winner and was trained up to Grand
Prix. Bergamon`s dam Paola is the full sister of Pik
Bube I und II. She gave birth to a number of approved
sons and state premium mares such as the memorable queen
of movement Primavera, who was diamond champion in 1992,
state champion and third in the Federal Championship.
This bloodline brought forth stallions like the Grand
Prix winner Donnerschlag, Ragazzo, Wallstreet, Donnerklang
A, Raphanus und Avantgarde. After successfully absolving
his stallion performance test with a very good dressage
index of 126.12 points, he won a number of dressage
horse tests in series with scores up to 8.7.
