Regazzoni Sold to the United States
December 6, 2002
The
11-year old Hanoverian stallion Regazzoni, approved
in Germany with all societies, is sold to the United
States. By the legendary Rubenstein, out of SPS Wakonda
(by Werther), Regazzoni was previously owned by Ingo
Pape of Hemmoor, Germany.
Regazzoni was a successful stallion even at the beginning
of his career. At his 100-day test he scored an overall
140.53 points, with a dressage index of 152.16. Scoring
a perfect 10 for temperament and rideability, he was
champion of his testing over 53 other stallions.
In 1995, Regazzoni was federal vice-champion German
riding horse in Warendorf and in 1996, he won the finals
of the German five-year old dressage championships.
Regazzoni is currently being ridden at FEI Intermediere
level.
This already successful sire has produced thirteen approved
sons and several states premium mares to his credit.
In 2000, two of his sons successfully completed the
100-day stallion test in the US. He is currently working
at FEI Intermediere level. Regazzoni is also a popular
sire for auction horses. Revue Girl and Rittmeister
both sold for top money at the PSI auction in Muhlen.
Regazzoni is currently owned by Oldenburg Farm LLC,
owned by Wayne Oldenburg and managed by Alexandra Philpin, and is up for stud at
Oldenburg Farm in Mequon, Wisconsin.
