Du Commerce Price Highlight at the 2004 Klosterhof Medingen Auction

What used to be the official Elite Trakehner auction of the year has been a private auction of Klosterhof Medingen bred products the past few years now. Price Highlight of the 2004 auction was the licensed breeding stallion Du Commerce. This fantastically moving De Niro x Andiamo x Gutenborg stallion was sold for 150,000 euro to a dressage fan in Switzerland. This Swiss lady also owns Distelzar, a Trakehner stallion she bought at the 2001 Medingen auction for 300,000 euro.

Second most expensive horse was Dylani, a De Niro x Acapulco x Hessenstein, who got sold to a rider from Hamburg for 95,000 euro. The third most expensive horse, La Cucaracha (Latimer x Welt Hit II x Andiamo) also moves to Hamburg for 50,000 euro.

The most expensive foal was Duke of Oldenburg, an Oldenburg colt by De Niro x Canaster x Caprimond. He got sold for 40,000 euro to Austria.
