2008 World Cup Finals
Rozzie Ryan to Represent Australia at the 2008 World
Cup Final
January 12, 2008
Rozzie Ryan and Susan Duddy’s black mare Donna
Carrera have qualified to represent Australia at
the
World Cup Dressage Final in ‘s-Hertogenbosch,
Holland, 27-30 March 2008. As there were only two qualifying
rounds held in the Pacific League this year, due to
Equine Influenza,
Rozzie and the 13-year-old Donna Carrera were the
only combination that managed to gain qualification
to compete at the final.
Rozzie plans to travel the mare
to Europe in early March and compete at one warm
up show at Dortmund in
Germany before the World Cup Final. Donna Carrera,
by Donnerhall x Raphael, will then stay in Europe
until June for the final selection trials for the Olympic
Games.
Owner Susan Duddy says ‘This provides a wonderful
opportunity in the lead-up to the Olympic Games in
terms of the training and competition experience.’
