Due to a change of rules for the
season 2007-2008 the actual title defender didn’t
receive World Cup™ Points as she automatically
is qualified. Defender Isabell Werth has been the winner
in Odense, Frankfurt and Neumünster, however the
points for the winner have been rewarded to the runner
up in those shows.
Canadian Evi Strasser did receive
World Cup™ Points
in London and Mechelen as she asked the FEI to qualify
through the Western European League. The same goes
for American Catherine Haddad and Heather Blitz living
in Germany and Denmark respectively and for Mexican
Bernadette Pujals
