Australian Olympic Dressage Team Selected

Hayley BeresfordThe Dressage Selectors for the Australian Equestrian Federation made their decision on the Australian Olympic Dressage Team today at the 2008 CDIO Aachen in Germany. The riders in question were notified of the news in Aachen.

The 2008 Australian Olympic Dressage Team is constituted by:

  • Kristy Oatley - Quando Quando
  • Hayley Beresford - Relampago de Retiro
  • Heath Ryan - Greenoaks Dundee
    • Reserve: Rozzie Ryan - Donna Carrera

The best Australian today in Aachen was Hayley Beresford. On her Lusitano stallion Relampago de Retiro (pictured) she finished 11th provisionally in group 1 on a score of 65.917%. With her small tour horse Rhapsodie Queen, she landed a second place in the Prix St Georges.
