2007 World Cup Finals

Las Vegas World Cup Wild Cards Distributed

The FEI has announced the recipients of the five wild cards that were to be distributed to fill up the field of competitors for the 2007 World Cup Finals in Las Vegas, U.S.A. The recipients are Canadian Jacqueline Brooks, American Catherine Haddad, British Wayne Channon, Portuguese Daniel Pinto and the third placed U.S. rider at the U.S. League Finals.

The current list of participants at the 2007 World Cup Finals is as follows:

WESTERN EUROPEAN LEAGUE:

• 1 Imke SCHELLEKENS-BARTELS, NED / Sunrise
• 2 Isabell WERTH, GER / Warum Nicht
• 3 Andreas HELGSTRAND, DEN / Blue Hors Matiné
• 4 Kyra KYRKLUND, FIN / Max
• 5 Edward GAL, NED / Gribaldi
• 6 Tinne VILHELMSON, SWE / Solos Carex
• 7 Laurens VAN LIEREN, NED / Hexagon’s Ollright
• 8 Jan BRINK, SWE / Björsells Briar 899
• Reserve riders:
  • 1 Marlies VAN BAALEN, NED / Relevant / Kigali - if NED rider retires)
  • 2 Jeroen DEVROE, BEL / Paganini

CENTRAL EUROPEAN LEAGUE:

• Iryna LIS, BLR / Problesk

CAN LEAGUE:

• Evi STRASSER / Quantum Tyme

USA LEAGUE:

• Two riders will qualify from the USA League Final in Burbank on April 1, 2007
