European Championship Evaluation at 2007 Global Dressage
Forum
September 10, 2007
During the 2007 Global Dressage Forum, which will
be held on Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 October 2007 at
Academy Bartels,
FEI ‘O’ judge Stephen Clarke (GBR) will lead the evaluation
of several tests of the European Championship in Torino.
Together with colleague Vincenzo Truppa (ITA) and Wim
Ernes (NED) they will explain the scores. Points of
view will be discussed with the public present, among
them top riders and trainers.
The goal of this evaluation
is to make the judges’s score more transparent. The
times that judges and riders did not discuss how exercises
should be performed, are over. The trend to explain
the judges’s views in public, which was also was promoted
through the evaluations during the Global Dressage
Forum, have contributed positively to this transparency.
The Global Dressage Forum is annually visited by top
riders, trainers, judges and enthusiastic dressage
fans. You will find all information
on our website: www.globaldressageforum.com.
