Victory for Matthias Rath in the Intermédiaire I

The same two riders occupied the top two rankings in the WOTAX Prize Intermédiaire I at the CHIO Aachen 2007, as in the Prix St. Georges, the Prize of the VUV Vereinigte Unternehmerverbände Aachen, but this time the other way round: 22-year-old Matthias Alexander Rath from Kronberg, Germany, secured first place with a score of 70.20 percent with his nine-year-old Hannoverian, Weltmeyer Junior.
He was closely followed by the winner of the Prix St. Georges, Victoria Max-Theurer from Austria who scored 69.6 percent with her 7-year old Oldenburg stallion, Augustin.
The British rider, Emma Hindle, claimed third place with the approved stallion Chequille Z. She was awarded 68.75 percent for her ride.
Isabell Werth/Rheinberg finished fifth with Fuchsberger, also an approved stallion.
28,000 spectators visited the Soers today, on Friday, July 6th.
