The CDI Stuttgart is wonderful show, especially now
that the Porsche arena, which is adjacent to the main arena, allows the
riders to train and warm up their horses under the best conditions that
are possible indoors -- and since it's a fully operational event hall
itself, it seats a couple of thousand people who can watch the warm up. The Stuttgart show, which is organized by judge Gotthilf Riexinger, is very well organized with much attention to detail; it has
open scoring displays and prides itself of very nice prize-giving
ceremonies. Kyra Kyrklund was the big winner of the Grand Prix Kur tour. She scored 80% for her freestyle, and always has time for the fans. |

Sonja Bolz and Cockney are on a high. The young Bolz is doing better on this Holsteiner gelding than former owner Nadine Capellmann ever did. |

The CDI Stuttgart was a
groundbreaking event for Swiss Simonne Staub. Simonne Staub almost couldn't believe it when her
score of almost 70 per cent in the Grand Prix was announced. In the kur to music she scored the magical 73% and was the best Swiss rider performing in Stuttgart. |
