Edward Gal on LinghYesterday, after the Grand Prix at the CDIO Rotterdam, Dutch chef d'Equipe Sjef Janssen announced the Dutch dressage team that will represent The Netherlands at the 2006 World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany, at the end of August.

There are totally no surprises in the selected team and Holland will be sending a very strong "equipe" to Germany, where they will have a good shot at defeating the German Mannschaft this year in an international championship.

The team consists of Edward Gal (Lingh), Imke Schellekens (Sunrise), Anky van Grunsven (Salinero) and Laurens van Lieren (Hexagon's Olright). The reserve is Kirsten Beckers (Broere Jazz).
