Dutch Horses Selected for 2005 World Championships in Verden

Tommie Visser on the 5-year old Turbo Magic (in double bridle)Though the final Dutch Young Horse Selection Trial was on Monday June 13, 2005, it took the KWPN/KNHS until the late evening of June 15 to officially announce that Dutch horses that have been selected to compete at the 2005 World Young Horse Dressage Championships in Verden, Germany, July 1-3, 2005.

The qualified Dutch horses are:

5-year olds

  • Kern’s Tado Ando (Obelisk x Transvaal) – Niels Valkenburg
  • Tango (Jazz x Contango) – Hans Peter Minderhoud
  • Totilas (Gribaldi x Glendale) – Jiska van den Akker
  • Turbo Magic (Cabochon x Cocktail) – Tommie Visser
  • Tuschinski (Krack C x Pion) – Yvonne Copal
  • Reserve: Hexagon’s Truppa (Rubiquil x Rinaldo) – Thamar Zweistra

6-year olds

  • Sensation (Jazz x Blanc Rivage xx) – Hans Peter Minderhoud
  • Sisther de Jeu (Gribaldi x Amor) – Edward Gal
  • Spargo (Krack C x Boreas) – Theo Hanzon
  • Special D (Métall x Zandigo) – Diederik van Silfhout
  • Lipika Special Gift (Montecristo x Voltaire) – Liseon Kamper
  • Reserve: Skyline (Democraat x Michelangelo) – Anne van Uytert
