Emma Hindle on ChequilleThe British Equestrian Federation has nominated two horses to compete for Britain at the 2005 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden, Germany, July 1-3, 2005.

The British selectors have picked two six year olds to compete in Verden. Sarah Pidgley's Spirit Freedom, a bay Oldenburg by Sion x Figaro x Goldstern, who will be ridden by Damian Hallam. Spirit Freedom, previously known as Sympatico, was purchased by the Pidgley's at the 2002 Elite Autumn Auction in Vechta.

The second 6-year old nominated to competefor Britain is the Zangerheide licensed stallion Chequille Z, owned and ridden by Emma Hindle of Brookhouse Stud. Chequille Z is by Caretano x Lavall II.

However, Emma Hindle will not be showing in Verden because she has scheduled to compete her Grand Prix horse Wie Weltmeyer at the CDI-W Ksiaz in Poland. As a member of the British team for the 2005 European Championships, Hindle has incalculated Ksiaz as final preparation for Wie Weltmeyer on the road to Moscow. "I'd love to go to Verden, but I have other priorities now. I want to put down the best possible performance for the team and will take Wally to Ksiaz for that," Hindle told Eurodressage.
