2005 European Dressage Championships

British Team for the 2005 European Championships Selected

Lorenzo (Ferro x Wolfgang)British Dressage's selectors David Trott, Judy Harvey and Sandy Philips have selected the British team for the 2005 European Dressage Championships in Moscow, Russia. Based on the riders' (2005) recent performances, the selectors picked Wayne Channon, Carl Hester, Emma Hindle and Fiona Bigwood for the team. Emile Faurie will be the reserve rider.

Wayne Channon is leading the British Grand Prix ranking based on his 2005 international Grand Prix scores. World Cup Finalist Carl Hester is in second position.

Channon will be taking his KWPN stallion Lorenzo (Ferro x Wolfgang) to Moscow, Carl Hester is saddling Escapado (Ex Libris x Ikarus). Third team rider will be Emma Hindle on Wie Weltmeyer (Weltmeyer x Dynamo) while her KWPN stallion Lancet (Wenzel x Shogun xx) will be her reserve horse. The team is completed with Fiona Bigwood aboard Mr G de Lully (Gauguin de Lully x Ambassadeur). Emile Faurie and Lady Bamford's Livello (Lancer II x Don Govanni xx) are the reserves.
