Pedretti hoping for better in Germany

Renee Pedretti, a 22-year-old rider from Victoria, was hoping to achieve a new personal best on her horse, Sunbury Lodge Thomas, in the Peter Horobin sponsored International Prix St Georges dressage event at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre on Friday.

However, immediately after the test, she was less positive about her chances of achieving a new mark. "I made a few too many little mistakes in my ride, [so] I don't think I will beat my personal best. My horse can do better. My coach is currently in Denmark and it is hard competing without him."

Next month she travels to Germany for the Aachen Show event following her recent victory in the Aachen Challenge in Victoria for U25 riders.
