Gracioso Strong in CDI Grand Prix
In
dressage 16-year-old Gracioso showed his qualities once
again with Nadine Capellmann. With 1860 points the Grundstein
son won the "kd-Preis-Grand Prix (not part of the CDIO
tour) ahead of Renaissance Fleur, ridden by Monica Theodorescu
(Sassenberg), who had 94 points less. Equal third were
Hubertus Schmidt with My Fair Lady and Wolfram Wittig
riding Breitling W with 1741 points.
In the Prix St. Georges she had to share victory, but
in the Intermediate I European Young Rider Champion
took first place with Slow Fox (1460) ahead of Heike
Kemmer (Isernhagen) with Bonaparte. Olympic Champion
Anky van Grunsven (Netherlands) rode her young horse
Krack C to third place.
