Salzgeber's Hattrick at CDI-W Geneva
It's
a Hattrick, a third victory in a row, for Ulla Salzgeber
and Rusty. Dominating the CDI-W's in Berlin and Stuttgart,
now the Bad Worishofen citizan conquered at the CDI-W
Geneva, Switzerland.
With a miraculous 80.38% in the kur to music, Ulla
Salzgeber is "currently" the only European
dressage rider able to score above 80%. A second place
went to the Dutch Gonnelien Rothenberger-Gordijn on
the Oldenburger gelding Jonggor's Leonardo da Vinci
(by Landadel). The pair hit 77.43% in the freestyle.
Third place went to the German Ann Kathrin Kroth on
Red Liner, an 11-year-old Westfalian gelding by Rex
Fritz.
Kroth, who is the daughter of the Olympic gold medallist
Liselotte Rheinberger-Linsenhoff, will be one of the
future German dressage riders to take into account.
Not only is Kroth creating a strong presence on the
show scene with horses like Red Liner, Wandervogel and
Renoir, but she is currently having a buying-rage purchasing
the best auction horses all around Germany (Wahajama,
Words of Glory, Rynok). A fourth position went to German
outsider Dieter Laugks on Habana (73.23%).
