Without A Doubt back to owner
Sven
Rothenberger will not compete Jonggor's Weyden at Indoor
Brabant. The injury which he caught at the KWPN stallion
approval day didn't heal as well as expected. The wound
kept going open and Sven started doing some walk exercises
since a few days. The stallion wouldn't be in top shape
for the competition and Sven thus pulled him back from
the show. This is not a real problem for Sven as he
started working in his father's company again. His job
keeps him from spending quality time with his horses.
For this reason Without Adoubt, a Hannoverian mare by
World Cup which was purchased three years ago, is going
back to the former owner. With the departure of this
mare, Sven still has Joggor's Weyden (by Western Star/
Hann) and Olympic Dondolo (Oldenburger) at his disposal.
Sven's wife, Gonnelien Rothenberger-Gordijn, also announced
that she wouldn't be showing in 1999. She's expecting
her third child, which will be born in August. Gonnelien
has three wishes: to compete together with her husband
in the Olympic Games, to breed a foal out of Olympic
Bo and to have a large family. The last wish will now
be fulfilled. In 2000 Gonnelien will ride again for
a place in the Dutch Olympic team.
