Akazie and Dominique Brieussel
For
many years the Trakehner sire Absatz served as examplary
conformation improving sire in the development of the
the Hanoverian Breed. From generation to generation
Absatz' input in gaits and potential were highly recognizable
in his descendants.
The French Dominique Brieussel shows one of these gets
that carry primal Absatz influence in the bloodline.
Member of the French dressage equipe this wonderful
black mare by Aktuell served as second best team horse
at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta where 'the country
of cheese and wine' placed fourth behind the USA. Akazie
has been Brieussel's trusty mount for years and their
latest achievement was hailed at the CDI
Saumur where the pair scored 64.09% in the Grand
Prix Speciale.
