Comeback Gestion Goliath T Postponed
March 14, 2003
Despite
the multiple announcements and press releases that Arjen
Teeuwissen's number one mount Gestion Goliath T is to
make his grand come back at the CDI-W 's Hertogenbosch,
The Netherlands, next week, it has been officially confirmed
that Goliath will not compete at that show.
Frank Garritsen, who is Arjen Teeuwissen's life partner
and co-stable manager, clarifies the situation. "Indeed
we had hoped to make our Goliath's come back at Indoor
Brabant, but we only want show the horse when he's 100%
fit. He's doing well right now, but he's still not at
that point we want him to be."
The CDI-W 's Hertogenbosch, also known as Indoor Brabant,
is not so much an important show to Teeuwissen, as he
has ridden no World Cup Qualifiers this year any way.
"We are currently training hard with Sjef Janssen,
and together with him, Anky and the chef d'equipe we
have decide to postpone the come back," Garritsen
adds.
Garritsen and Teeuwissen have check marked the Dutch
Dressage Championships in Nijmeghen in June and the
European Championships in Hickstead in August as important
shows on their calendar. Goliath T (by Zebulon) will
most likely make his rentree on the scene in June.
