Gestion Silvano
N produces price highlight of Midden Beemster Auction
Auctioneer
and stallion owner Piet Meinen was more than pleased
with the results of his auction in Midden Beemster,
The Netherlands. Besides the large interest shown by
many visitors and spectators, the 1999 Foal Auction
can be seen as a profound (financial) input/stimulant
for the Dutch Warmblood Breed. Price high light of this
year's auction was Silhouet, a bay filly branded KWPN
but primarily carrying a Holsteiner lineage. The lovely
movind Silhouet is sired by Dutch Dressage Team stallion
Silvano N. Silvano N is a Holsteiner bred sire by Silvester
and is stabled in Germany. Trained and shown by the
Dutch Ellen Bontje, Silvano has been a paramount contributor
to team silver at the 1999 European Championships. Silhouet
is out of a Flemmingh x Wellington dam. Second most
expensive foal was the show jumping prospect Saloubet.
This colt is sired by Rodrigo Pessoa's Galoubet de Rouet,
the winner of the 1998 Volvo World Cup Show Jumping
Competition. Saloubet carries Libero H x Pilot blood
in the dam line.
