Leida Strijk leaves De Havikerwaard

Dutch GP rider Leida Strijk has ended her corporation with De Havikerwaard. Leida rode approved stallions Mendel, Welt Hit II and Isabell Werth's former Grand Prix horse Welcome. De Havikerwaard assigned another trainer for its young horses. Leida commented that she was not allowed to ride any other horses except those three stallions, plus she couldn't train horses of other owners. "This is unacceptable for a professional rider." Leida will continue as independent rider/ trainer together with her partner Robert Puck.
