Gestion Gere
sold to Japan
Anky
van Grunsven's fourth Grand Prix horse is sold. The
nine year old KWPN Dutch warmblood gelding by Beaujolais
has been competing under Anky van Grunsven for two years.
The combination entered the show ring at Prix St. George
level in 1997. They won several national and smaller
international competitions with scores round 68% to
70%. In 1998 Gestion Gere competed at Grand Prix level
but he was very inexperienced and the piaffe-passage
needed improvement. But it was especially his height
(18.0 hh) and large gaits which slowed down Gere's learning
process. Toshihiko Kiso from Japan will be working with
the chestnut gelding in the future. Anky van Grunsven
felt sad to see Gere move to Asia, but her stable is
still filled with other Grand Prix stars like Bonfire,
Partout and Cocktail
