Munchhausen and Monteverdi Sponsored by TSF

September 27, 2004

MunchhausenThe licensed Trakehner stallions Munchhausen and Monteverdi will be sponsored by the Trakehner Sportpferde Forderung (TSF) in the future. Both stallions, who are owned by Gestut Wiesenhof in Krefeld, Germany, will carry the abbreviation TSF behind their names. TSF aims at improving the presence of Trakehner horses at international competitions.

Munchhausen is a 9-year old bay Trakehner stallion by Hohenstein x Konigsstein who became licensing champion in 1997. He is currently competing at Grand Prix level under the Danish rider Fie Christine Skarsoe. Monteverdi is an 8-year old black stallion by Partout x Matador. He's currently showing at Prix St Georges level under Skarsoe.

TSF sponsors riders and horses by offering them special (financial) benefits in their training and show career. TSF wants to bringing young Trakehner horses into the hands of accomplished riders so that horses will be able to develop to their full potential.
