Shannon TSF Sold to the United States
August 10, 2003
Grand
Prix horse Shannon TSF has been sold to the United States.
For four years, the Trakehner bred Shannon has been trained and shown by
Peter Koch, who runs a dressage stable in Oyten, Germany. Shannon TSF's German owners Bernd Huwald and Balbina von
Bremen have sold the gelding to Bethany Peslar, a young rider from Wellington, Florida. Peslar runs Everglade Farms with her parents and has discovered Shannon in Germany through her trainer Cesar Parra.
Shannon TSF, is a grey Trakehner gelding by Kostolany
and is considered to be the Trakehner shooting star
in Grand Prix dressage. The Trakehner Verband, therefore,
accepted Shannon into its promotion programme, Trakehner
Sportpferde-Förderung, which financially supports successful
Trakehner sporthorses.
Koch is still competing Grand Prix horse Le Primeur
and Grand Canyon.
