Nadine Capellmann out of German A- Dressage
Team
December 1, 2003
The German Equestrian Federation and selection committee
chairman Ferdi-Jörgen Wassermeyer announced
today its new A and B dressage teams. Very sensational
is the news that Nadine Capellmann is no longer in
the A-team. Farbenfroh has been injured
for a year now, and Gracioso retired four months ago.
Capellmann has not produced the results necessary for
being an
A (Olympic)
team rider.
"Farbenfroh didn't score over the past twelve months.
That's obvious," Capellmann said. The Westfalian gelding
has injured his hoof a year ago, but is now healthy.
"I'm happy that he's fit again," Capellmann added,
"and we'll make our come back in March." Nadine
Capellmann no longer wants to be involved with team
trainer Holger Schmezer, who refused to select Gracioso
for the 2003 CDI Aachen.
Selected for the German A team are:
Ulla Salzgeber
with Rusty and Wall Street
Klaus Husenbeth
with Piccolino
Heike Kemmer with Bonaparte and Albano
Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff with Renoir-Unicef and Wahajama-Unicef
Hubertus Schmidt with Wansulea suerte
Martin Schaudt with Loesdau’s Loriot and Weltall
VA
Isabell Werth with Satchmo, Antony FRH and Apache
OLD
The German B-team riders are:

Dona Castania and Little Big Man.

Holga Finken with Duvalier und Gianna
Christine Kaltenböck with Weltrang
