Siegried Peilicke Honored With "Ritmeister"
Title
German
dressage guru Siegfried "Bimbo" Peilicke has
been honored with the title of Ritmeister at the equestrian
facility of Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff in Kronenberg, Germany.
Peilicke recently celebrated his 70th birthday and now
received his Ritmeister certificate from Madeleine Winter-Schulze
at a party in Kronberg, where 150 guests were present.
Peilicke is the 25th Ritmeister in the history of the
German Equestrian Federation. The very first title of
Ritmeister went to Willi Schultheis in 1975. Other fortunate
recipients are Karl-Heinz Giebmanns, Johann Hinnemann,
Fritz Ligges, Herbert Meyer, Herbert Rehbein, Harry
Boldt and Horst Karsten, yet only four Ritmeisters completed
both the theoretic and practical test in dressage and
jumping. They are Günther Festerling and Theo Hansen
in 1964) and Karl-Heinz Streng and Jean Bemelmans in
1989.
