How Russian is Rusty?

RustyThe identity of probably the best dressage horse in the world has been revealed. German Ulla Salzgeber's Rusty is not a Russian, but a Latvian bred warmblood.

Rusty was born on the Burtnieki stud farm on 2nd April 1988. In 1990 the liver chestnut two-year-old was sold to Belarus, from which he moved to Germany.
