2009 European Pony Championships To be Held in Belgium

Louisa LuttgenThe FEI has allocated the 2009 European Pony Championships to Belgium. This international pony event, which is the dream of every competition pony rider, will be held at equestrian facility Het Zilveren Spoor in Moorsele, Belgium. The cross country for ponies will be held close by on the castle domain of Baron Jean Casier in Kruishoutem, Belgium.

Belgian show jumping rider Jean Claude Vangeenberghe has made his beautiful facility available for many international competitions before, including the 1997 European Junior/Young Riders Championships and several World Championships for Paralympic riders.

The 2009 European Pony Championships will take place July 29th - August 4th, 2009.
The 2008 European Pony Championships of this year are held in Avenches, Switzerland, July 24-27, 2008.
