Reward The Best of British Grooms

GroomingThe best grooms in the country will compete to win a luxury holiday in the prestigious 2006 Kuster BEF Groom Award competition, once again kindly sponsored by Frank Kuster. Entries close on 25th November so don't delay and nominate your groom today !

1st Prize - A week in the exclusive Swiss resort of Nendaz for the winner and their guest can be taken either in the summer to relax and enjoy the stunning scenery and mountain bike riding, or in the winter when this luxury Swiss resort really comes to life. Whichever, it will be a week to remember and the winner will also be presented with the prestigious Smash Hit Bronze.
2nd Prize - £300
3rd Prize - £200

Seven finalists and their guests will be invited to attend the final judging day including a champagne lunch on the 20th December 2006. Mike Tucker and Sarah Pidgely, who form the panel of judges, will be looking for grooms who can display their depth of knowledge and demonstrate a true passion for their job via a short, informal interview.

The competition is open to all grooms, whether from a local riding school or Olympic yard and entries from those who were nominated in the 2005 Kuster BEF Groom Award are very much encouraged.

Entry is easy; applicants may nominate themselves or be nominated by an employer, owner or friend. Nomination forms are available to download from www.bef.co.uk or can be requested from the BEF office. The following information will be required:
1. Details of why you believe the nominee deserves the award
2. An example of how the nominee has displayed the X Factor required to win this coveted title
3. Contact details of the nominee.

There are 7 categories: Dressage, Show Jumping, Eventing, Hunting, Driving, Livery Yards/ Riding Schools and Other Equestrian Sports (please specify). Please state on your entry which category your nomination is to be considered under.
