British Grand Prix and Small Tour Rankings
October 12, 2005
British Dressage released the latest rider rankings for Grand Prix and small tour level. The small tour ranking is led by Emma Hindle on the Oldenburg licensed stallion Diamond Hit (by Don Schufro). The combination has had a fabulous 2005 show season claiming several victories and consistently placing at the top of the leader board at CDI shows in Europe.
This 2005 show season, Diamond Hit is not only proving his worth as a competition horse, but he is also becoming a highly acclaimed breeding sire having produced Loxana, the Oldenburg Mare Champion in Rastede, and Donovan, the 4-year old German Young Horse Dressage Champion at the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf.
Carl Hester and the Oldenburg gelding Escapado are currently in the lead of the Grand Prix Ranking, because of the massive amount of points they earned by finishing fifth at the 2005 European Dressage Championships. After the Championships, Hester's horse sold to The Netherlands and is in training with Hans Peter Minderhoud, who showed Escapado for the first time two weeks ago, earning a 70.41% at Intermediaire II level. Minderhoud and Escapado will make their Grand Prix debut next weekend in Ermelo.
