Wim Verwimp
loses Zuuthoeve stallions to Philippe Jorissen
Belgian
Prix st Georges rider and former Belgian Grand Prix
Champion Wim Verwimp has lost his two Prix st. Georges
mounts. Owner of Karsten and Weltmeyer II van de Zuuthoeve,
René Vets, decided to hand over the control of
both mounts to Philippe Jorissen, who already took over
the Oldenburger stallion Sir Lui ( by Silvio I) from
Stefan Hollanders. With this unfortunate occurance,
Wim Verwimp loses his only two FEI horses which whom
he excelled and was able to stand a chance at national
and the smaller international circuit. Weltmeyer II
van de Zuuthoeve (by Weltmeyer x Lungau) is Anglo European
studbook approved. Karsten van de Zuuthoeve, a KWPN
branded Ramiro son, is also AES approved and won the
1999 Zwolle International Stallion Show under Verwimp.
