2000 Belgian Dressage Weekend
 The
Duke of Newcastle Dressage Club and Riding Club Xenophon
will be hosting a very special dressage weekend this
year. On 14th and 15th October 2000 both clubs will
be organising this dressage extravaganza at Het Azelhof
in Koningshooikt (Lier), Belgium. The weekend will be
a mix of dressage clinics and competition.
Main event are the Belgian Dressage Championships for
Pony, Junior, Young Riders and Grand Prix riders coinciding
with the finals of the "Cup of Belgium" for young dressage
horses. In order to draw a crowd the Duke of Newcastle
D.C. has invited internationally renowned dressage trainer
Johan Hinnemann and his student Coby van Baalen for
a special clinic. Several other international combinations
are invited. A break-through in Belgium as well will
be the first auction for dressage horses.
Tentative Schedule
Saturday October 14, 2000
- 09.00 h: First leg Belgian Championships for Pony,
JR, YR and GP riders
- 14.30 h: Finals "Cup of Belgium" young dressage
horses
- 19.00 h: Auction of dressage horses
Sunday October 15, 2000
- 10.00 h: Second leg Belgian Championships for Pony,
JR, Yr, GP riders
- 16.00 h: Dressage clinic with Jo Hinnemann and
Coby van Baalen

the programme, sponsoring tests, VIP-seats and tables
or a position on the trade fair, can be acquaired at the
