Gestion TCN Partout To Retire From Competition
October 27, 2002
Finally
the moment has come for the official retirement of Trakehner
breeding stallion Gestion TCN Partout (by Arogno). The
last three years the bay stallion only made one show
appearance a year, for instance at the CDI Paris, but
every time after a long recovery from severe leg injuries.
Anky never lost hope in the recovery of the stallion,
but Gestion TCN Partout never danced like his stall
mate Gestion Bonfire. Although Partout was a freestyle
specialist, especially when riding the James Bond kur
and the Flamenco freestyle, but the horse never really
had that extra little bit to take in Bonfire's number
one role. At the Zwolle International Stallion Show,
February 19 to 23, 2003, Gestion TCN Partout will receive
a special retirement ceremony.
TCN Partout is owned by the Trakehner Contact Nederland,
a society promoting the Trakehner horse in The Netherlands.
They purchased Partout as a three-year old and immediately
put him in training with Anky van Grunsven who guided
him all the way to Grand Prix. Partout is a licensed
breeding stallion and finally got acclaim as a sire
when his son Monteverdi became the licensing Champion
in Neumunster. Monteverdi is currently being owned by
Gestut Wiesenhof and competed by Fie Skarsoe who showed
him at the 2001 World Championships for Young Dressage
Horses in Verden.
