Luxus and Matea SB, 2007 Swedish Warmblood Foal Champions

Last weekend, the 2007 Swedish Foal Championships were held and colt Luxus as well as filly Matea SB were proclaimed 2007 Swedish Foal Champion. The "State Foal Championships" (Riksfol) are organized on two locations due to the vastness of Sweden. The locations were Tingsryd in the South of Sweden and Orebro in central Sweden.

The winning foal in the south was Luxus, a colt by Florencio x Bolero x Pajazzo, bred by Charlotte and Magnus Lillemark. The foal scored 93% in total, which was the highest score achieved nationwide. The runner up was Bertoni, a colt by Figaro R x Furioso III x Jovial. This breeding produckt of Niklas Samuelsson also achieved 93% but was ranked second

In central Sweden the highest ranking dressage foals were Matea SB, who took the lead with 89%. This filly is bred and owned by Monica Tindstedt and is by Kennedy x Don Primero x Rubinstein. The runner up was Ballerina, a Bocelli x Castellini x Maraton filly, bred by Rita Hallenheim-Eriksson. She scored 88%.
