Weltissimo Stepping Stone in Vechta
The
51st Autumn Elite Auction of the Oldenburger Verband
in Vechta, Germany, produced a price highlight of 320,000
Deutsch Marks. Weltissimo is the name and the bay beauty
was sold to the United States.
Sired by Welt Hit II out of a Barsoi xx dam, Weltissimo
is described to have the "type and talents of a fairy
tale dressage stallion. He makes a mature impression
and is easy to handle and ride. Fast learning, basic
training is proving to be a breeze. This is the elegant-elitist
type of nobility." Second highest price was knocked
down for Rockpalast, a chestnut gelding by Rohdiamant
x Almeo. A dressage enthusiast from Cloppenburg produced
200,000 DM for this 4 year old. 13 horses in total moved
abroad. Most expensive foal was Dance with Me, a gorgeous
black stallion by De Niro (s. Donnerhall) out of a Feinbrand
mare.
