Katrin Burger Leaves Gestut Schlossacker

Katrin
Burger and her partner Joachim Neubert are leaving
Gestut Schlossacker to resettle in the Oldenburg area
in Germany. The 37-year old Burger has been hired as
the
new Breeding Manager of
the Oldenburg Verband in Vechta, while Neubert will
go independent and start his own young horse training
barn.
As of March 1, 2006, Burger will be working at the
Oldenburg Verband in Vechta, Germany. She leaves
her employer of seven years, Gestut Schlossacker, which
is based in Straubenhardt, South Germany. "I'm leaving
Schlossacker with a smile and
a tear on my face," Burger stated, "but the interesting
position offered to me at the Oldenburg Verband was
decisive, as it will help my professional career in
the future.
Burger is replacing Dr Evelin Vollstedt-Schlotmann
who resigned from her post to take up a position in
her husband's company. Schlossacker is currently still
looking for a replacement for Burger.
