Ferrero Wins 2006 NRPS Stallion Licensing

At the 2006 NRPS Stallion Licensing, nineteen stallions in total obtained a license to breed for the NRPS society. Ten of them were 3-year old stallions, nine were older stallions. Champion of the licensing was a 4-year old Ferrero, by Ferro out of Kabola (by Darwin x J Amagun). The dark bay stallion is bred by Mr Koppel and owned by Jacques Maree, Mr van Mierlo and Mr. Slier. According to the NRPS licensing committee, this dark bay stallion had the best trot.

Four older dressage stallions were accepted based on a favourable judging report. Leida Collins' Westfalian bred Prix St Georges horse Florett As (by Forestan), the Swedish warmblood Silvano (Rubinstein x Cocktail), Mirelle van Kemenade's Oldenburger Sandro's Match (Sandro Hit x Ramiro's Match) and the Hanoverian Reflexion (Rubin Royal x Feiner Stern).
