Valeron, Price Highlight at the 2005 KWPN
Select Sale

The bay stallion Valeron became the price highlight
at the 2005 KWPN Select Sale auction of licensed ande
non-licensed stallions, following the 2005 KWPN Stallion
Licensing in 's Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands.
Valeron, who is by Sandro Hit x Houston, sold for
150,000 euro to horse dealer Wim Zegwaard. Zegwaard
bid on the horse through the phone from his skiing
vacation in the Alps. Zegwaard also purchased Valencio
(Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve x Candy Boy) with Han van Blokland
for 60,000 euro.
Best selling show jumper was Viento Uno, a Numero
Uno x Wisconsin offspring, who sold for 49,000 euro
to Albert Winninghoff of Winninghoff Stables. Viento
Uno
was
already the
sixth stallion that Winninghoff purchased at the KWPN
Select Sale.
The total revenue of the 2005 KWPN Select Sale was
791,800 euro and the average price for a stallion was
32,991 euro.
