It was great to see Per Sandgaard back in the show ring. After the sale of Zancor, Sandgaard has only been out a few times with his new Grand Prix horse Memphis. It was so nice to see him with two rising FEI stars. The top photo shows the 6-year old Angrib Firfod (Gribaldi x Schwadroneur), a fantastic dressage horse. The bottom photo is Zardin Firfod, also a Gribaldi x Schwadroneur but out of a different mare than Angrib. Zardin is almost Grand Prix ready and was competed at small tour level. Sandgaard and Zardin placed second twice.

Winner of the Prix St Georges and Intermediaire I kur class was Johannes Westendarp on Wolkentanz II. Bred by Mr Brinkemoller and owned by Westendarp, Wolkentanz II is by Weltmeyer x Ludendorff. The chestnut stallion looked absolutely delightful. Dynamic gaits, great temperament and he is just gorgeous to look at.

The Hanoverian stallion Rosevelt (by Rotspon x Lauries Crusador xx) dominated the riding horse tests in which gaits, rideability and potential were being judged. Rosevelt is a very nice stallion with three outstanding gaits, but he's a bit compact. The judging in the riding horse tests was arcane and not very consistent with some horses being surprisingly overscored. Nevertheless it was a great opportunity to see all young stallions being presented under saddle.

The KWPN stallion Versace (by Flemming x Goodtimes x Amor) was licensed for the Danish warmblood society. He's owned by Dressage Stable Solyst.
