His Highness continues to score high notes throughout
Europe. Today in the riding horse test, he scored
8.5 for walk, 9.3 for trot, 8.8 for canter, 9.0
for rideability and 9.0 for potential. Inga von
Helldorff is His Highness' new rider as Stefan
Wolff decided no longer to make the daily drive
from Rosendahl to Dorum (3 hours one way). Von
Helldorff still needs to get to know her horse
as she is pushing too much in the saddle and
holding her hands too high most of the time,
but she is able to show off the black stallion's
lovely paces.

Winning the Danish warmblood Young Horse Championship
for show jumpers was the bay mare Cayenne S,
by Churchill out of Lupin (by Leonardo II x Locarno).
Test rider Johnny Hansen said that a decade ago
he was test rider aboard Cayenne's dam Lupin
and he felt that daughter Cayenne had as much
and even more potential. "I would give her 10,5
but I can only go to 10," Hansen joked. The mare,
who was very eager to attack the fences, won
the 2006 Unghestechampionat.

He was

The news in Herning is
the absence of Blue Hors Hotline, the 2005 Hanoverian
Licensing Champion who sold for 800,000 euro
to Blue Hors/Paul Schockemohle. Hotline was supposed
to be licensed here this weekend but didn't make
the
trip up
north. The dark bay stallion by Hofrat x De Niro
injured himself severely to the hoof and needs
stable rest for a long time. There is no detailed
information available whether Hotline is able
to breed, or when he will be back in action.
More news on him to follow soon. |
